We strive for more while failing to enjoy what we have. God says to "receive all things with thankfulness." All things probably includes our gifts, experiences, and even our trials. Comparing ourselves to others is so hard not to do. Appreciating our own gifts and not wanting others gifts is also hard to internalize. Sometimes we are too lazy and lack motivation to really pursue all we want or think we can do. Its easier just to feel bad. That's when Satan really gets us. This is a wise and profound concept.
